Finally, the Supreme Court of India has ordered CI Probe in in Sushant Singh’s suicide case. The whole world was waiting for Supreme Court verdict, and expecting to be conducted the case inquiry by CBI. All those evidences, witnesses or any record of the case has to be transferred to the CBI. This is a slap on the face of the way the Mumbai police was proceeding the case. Even  after 60 days of the incidence no FIR was registered by the Mumbai police.

Sushant Singh Rajput died on 14 June, 2020 in his residence. It is speculated that he was killed and was not a suicide. Supreme Court has transferred this case directly to the CBI. Maharashtra Government needs to support for any kind of proceedings in the future for this case.

The ball is in the court of CBI now and no other police or agency would interfere the case now. Bihar DGP also said that now CBI would not delay the case. CBI would again start a fresh thread with all the evidences, witnesses, friends etc. Many people related with the case are still missing.

3 Main points of Supreme Court judgement

  1. Bihar FIR is valid
  2. Mumbai police needs to support the CBI
  3. If any further FIR is registered, it needs to be transferred to CBI
