Miss Universe 2021, Harnaaz Sandhu when recently returned to India from New York after a very long time, people in Punjab welcomed her in a grand way. She has signed two Punjabi movies and is not willing to play stereotype roles

Miss Universe 2021 title was announced on 13 December 2021, and it was a good news for India!

India beauty queen Harnaaz Sandhu had won this title of “Miss Universe 3032”, and was able to get back this title back to India after 21 years. Lara Dutta last won it in the year 2020. Before that in the year 1994 Sushmita Sen won the peagent.

Miss Universe 2021 Contest

The 70th edition of Miss Universe contest was organised in Eilat city of Israel in 2021. happened in Israel, and the first runner up was Miss Paraguay, Nadia Ferreira while second runner up was Miss Africa, Lalela Mswane.

In the contest 81 beauty queens from participated worldwide. Harnaaz Sandhu was able to give strong competition to them all and won the heart of people and the judges.

Life and Family of Harnaaz Sandhu

Harnaaz was born in Guruharsai in Punjab to a Sikh family. Her mother is a gynecologist and father a business man. She has an elder brother who is 7 years elder to her. He told how everyone calls Harnaaz “Candy” at home. This name was given to her by his younger brother only.

Harnaaz’s inspiration is her mother who broke the society’s norms and educated herself to become a successful gynaecologist. The family is proud with the achievements their daughter has made. Harnaaz already has appeared in two Punjabi movies.

Harnaaz grew up actively participating in various health camps organised to support the health any hygiene issues related to women.
