Early Life of Mulayam Singh Yadav

Mulayam Singh Yadav was born on 22 November 1939 in Saifai. Saifai is a big village and a town in Etawah district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

He was born in a farmer family.

His mother’s name was Murti Devi and father’s name was Sughar Singh.

Married Life of Mulayam Singh Yadav-Two Marriages

Mulayam Singh Yadav married twice. His first wife was Malti Devi died in May 2003. She was in a vegetative state from 1974 until her death in May 2003. She had got complications while giving birth to their only child Akhilesh Yadav.

Akhilesh was Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh from 2012 to 2017. Mulayam had a relationship with another woman Sadhana Gupta while he was still married in a marriage with Malti Devi in the 1990s.

Sadhana Gupta has a son named Prateek Yadav who was born in 1988 from her first marriage with first husband Chandra Prakash Gupta.

Chandra Prakash Gupta was a grocer from Farrukhabad and he married Sadhna Gupta on July 4, 1986. They divorced in 1990.

Sadhna Gupta died on 9 July 2022 due to a brief illness. Chandra Prakash Gupta’s wife Aparna Bisht Yadav joined BJP in 2022.
