NOTE appeal to Amitabh Bachchan on Pan Masala Advertisement
Many of you might have seen an advertisement on television in which Actor Amitab Bachchan is seen promoting tobacco use.
The actor is doing this advertisement to promote a brand ‘Kamla Pasand’ pan masala.
What is the controversy with Amitabh Bachchan on advertisement?
The National Organisation of Tobacco Eradication(NOTE) has appealed to the actor to isolate himself from this advertisement. The president of NOTE, Dr. Shekhar Salkar has appreciated Amitabh Bachchan that in the past the later had been a part of Pulse Polio campaign of the government which helped in the eradication of this dreadful disease from the nation.
He said that like the past, this time also the actor should not promote this advertisement and start promoting anti tobacco products and campaigns in nation-wide.
Tobacco is one of the most dreadful substance that can leave a very bad impact in the health of a person. One should refrain from using these products and encourage others also to not use them.
