What is Pi(Π)?

Pi is is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. It is represented as “Π”. Diameter is the distance from edge to edge of a circle measuring through the center.

Pi is a greek word used in mathematics as a constant. Its approximate value is 3.14159 or 22/7.

According to the Guinness World Record the most accurate value of Pi is more than 62 Trillion digit which is 62, 831, 853, 071, 796 to be more precise.

The beginning is supposed to be long when during the ancient time during the Babylonian empire when people were curious in understanding and knowing about circle. They found that they can find out the area by simple multiplying little more than 3 with the square of radius, like:
