Waking up early in morning has many benefits but its not an easier task to give competition to your morning alarming clock. Many people try to set time on their alarm clock to get up early in morning. But when it rings in the morning most of them again go inside their blanket by keeping it on snooze!!
When someone advice to get up early in the morning, they just reply that they don’t like getting up early in morning as they can finish most of their work in the night by staying late.
I also used to think about the same lke others. Whenever I tried to wake up early in the morning, most of the time was spent on youtube or facebook.
Most of the successful people complete most of their work before 8 am in the morning. In his book “The Miracle Morning: The 6 Habits That Will Transform Your Life Before 8AM”, writer has mentioned a shortcut S.A.V.E.R.S for success. Each letter denotes a morning habit that can bring success if followed.
Minute 1 (S – Silence)
Successful people wake up early in the morning and give some time to their breathing by doing meditation. Start with small inhalations and exhalations by keeping concentration on your breaths. The book says just imaging waking up without any hassle just spend one minute in silence. This one minute of silence could be your meditation or deep breathing. You can sing a prayer of gratitude to your god or just sit, calm and relax your mind.
Minute 2 (A – Affirmations)
Just write down your idle life or any wish on your paper in present tense. You can write your fitness goal, writing improvement, healthy life or any other idle life you want to live on paper.
This second minute of morning makes you pull out all your daily Affirmations. You should read out loud from top to bottom all your most important priorities. This improves the motivational level from inside and make you more powerful in achieving your priorities in life by making you more capable and energise. This way you are aware that you have your priorities and are aware that you deserve them and would work hard to achieve them. This second minute is really very important in making your aware with your inner power and desires.
Minute 3 (V – Visualisations)
Visualisations is visualising any lie you want to live for or your dreams. If you wish to have a home or a particular position, visualise that and this will give you power to achieve your dreams.
Just visualise your dreams and seeing them complete. Visualise you are enjoying your day with your family, smiling and working more efficiently. You remind yourself by closing your eyes that you have achieved your goals and enjoying your life.
Minute 4 (E – Exercise)
The fourth minute of the morning is “Exercise”. You can do little push-ups or jogging at one place. It is always good to do something rather than sitting or just wishing to do so. It is important to increase the blood flow or physical and mental health.
Minute 5 (R – Reading)
Reading is the best habit in the morning and is best exercise or your brain. You can read any book or crossword in the morning instead of reading stressful newspaper.
Minute 6 (S – Scribing)
It gives you a road map to your day ahead. Scribing means writing anything that you want to do in your day or can start your own journal and write something. You can maintain this to-do list to prioritise your day. If you got a new idea or have something to share with someone, just write it down.
