IPL 2021 Called off-Players being sent back to their home
Two players of KKR IPL team found covid positive after which the match between Royal Challengers and KKR got cancelled. But in the recent news Wriddhiman of Sun Riser’s Hyderabad also found positive.
As a result of this the IPL 2021 has been postponed with immediate effect and the players are being sent back to the respective home town.
UPDATE: The Indian Premier League Governing Council (IPL GC) and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in an emergency meeting has unanimously decided to postpone IPL 2021 season with immediate effect.
